Dr. RH Stone III, D.V.M., Owner

Dr. Stone graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. After a year of practice with Dr. Don Cates and Dr. Bryan Helms at St. Joe Vet Clinic he returned to practice with his father Dr. Raymond Stone Jr. in Sturgis KY.

In 1999 he relocated to the North side of Evansville IN. There, he and his wife Linda Stone established Stone Ridge Equine Care, LLC. Dr. Stone has two daughters Dr. Lauren Stone, a local dentist, and Kailyn Stone a senior at Memorial High School.

Dr. Cate Osterman, D.V.M.

Dr. Cate (Fritchley) Osterman, the newest member of the team, is a 2018 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Born and raised on Evansville’s North side, Cate brings an assortment of small and large animal experience. She was an active 10 year 4-H member and is still involved in 4-H today. Cate, along with her husband Drew, have one rescued greyhound (so far) named Tater. She has always loved animals and is excited to start her career at Stone Ridge!

Linda Stone, Owner Stone Ridge Equine Clinic Evansville IN


Linda graduated in 1983 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She met Dr. Stone while employed at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine as a Large Animal reproductive and embryo transfer tech. Linda returned to school to obtain her RN license in 1992 and worked in that field for several years, until relocating her family to establish Stone Ridge Equine Care Evansville IN.

Her biggest thrill has been serving as horse show mom for daughter Lauren, now a local Dentist and a soccer mom for daughter Kailyn a senior at Memorial High School.


Tia Beasley Veterinary Technician, Evansville IN

TIA TUTTLE, Registered VETERINARY Technician

Tia is from Loogootee IN and has grown up around horses, trail riding, training, and showing. She earned a double Bachelor’s degree in Western Equestrian Studies and Equine Business Management at the University of Findlay in Findlay, OH. Tia was president of their Ranch Horse Team and enjoyed competing in the American Ranch Horse Association. The American Quarter Horse Association selected her to travel to Europe in 2014 where she taught horsemanship clinics in several different countries.

Most recently she earned her Veterinary Technician License from Penn Foster University. Tia currently owns four Quarter horses and two cats. She enjoys training horses, trail riding and meeting all the great clients and horses at Stone Ridge Equine Care Evansville IN.


Theresa Haas, Registered VETERINARY Technician

Theresa was born and raised in Newburgh IN with her 7 siblings and is currently attending Harrison College in Evansville. She graduated their veterinary technology program in September.

Her first horse in 5th grade started a life long love and since then has taken on her beloved 6 horses, 1 dog, 5 cats, and 2 bunnies. She has always loved animals and cannot wait to meet your pets of all kinds.



Katie Denning, Receptionist

Katie is from Mount Vernon, Indiana; she has her bachelor’s degree from University of Evansville, in Health Care Administration. Katie is a PATH International certified therapeutic riding instructor and teaches for Healing Reins Therapeutic Riding Program in Henderson, Kentucky. Katie got her first pony from her grandfather when she was 4 and still has her 4 horses and mini on her grandparent’s property. She also has 6 barn kitties and 4 dogs at home & enjoys spending time with her husband, her dogs, horses and family.
