Introducing the First & Only Equine Vaccine to Contain all 5 Core Equine Disease Antigens!

Stone Ridge Equine Care is now offering the new Core EQ Innovator vaccine. This vaccine helps protect against all potentially fatal core diseases. With one vaccine the horse is provided some protection from Eastern & Western Equine Encephalomyelitis, Tetanus, West Nile, and Rabies. Until now the Rabies vaccine has always been given in an additional shot from any other vaccines. However, Rabies is considered a core horse disease, and therefore has been added to the other core diseases vaccine.

Rabies is transmitted through a bite of a rabid animal and is 100% fatal. There are many animals in the Tri-State that can carry Rabies including skunks, raccoons, foxes, and bats. The Rabies disease also has zoonotic potential, meaning it can be spread from horses to humans. Even with these shocking facts about the disease, the vaccine is often overlooked.

With the Core vaccine we hope to bring awareness about the severity of the Rabies disease and offer a simple and cost effective preventative. Annual vaccinations is the only way to help protect horses from the deadly core equine diseases. When you call in to schedule your annual vaccinations this spring, be sure to ask about the new Core Vaccine!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Stone & his staff. They go above & beyond & take the extra mile to take care of your horses needs. They really care about what your horse really needs.

They have been up all night with emergency colic surgery with a positive outcome. They saved a foal that was born three weeks early. I can’t even begin to tell everything we have been thru together. But I can tell you one thing, they don’t come any better than Dr. Stone & his staff. They are like family to our horses & us.”
